Often when individuals are honored by the President or Congress they receive a flag that was flown over the Capitol. At the McKnight Artist Fellowship party I flew 637 flags over the artists, friends and guests present, imbuing each flag with the spirit and energy of the collected people. The flags made their way overhead, flying over the party as the evening progressed. As guests left they were each presented with a flag carrying the good will of the celebration.

Video documentation of the flags flying over the Fellowship party and being presented to artists and guests. Flags flew on both lines and then were lowered to first floor over about 4 hours. Multiple assistants helped with flying and presenting the 637 flags carrying the spirit of the celebration.
